Demand for EFL growing in Cuba

Demand for English language courses for adults continues to grow in Cuba.

English teacher Jorge Rodriguez, who works in a state-run language school in Havana, reports an increase in enrollments, driven by a growth in jobs in the high-paying (still regulated) private sector, particularly tourism jobs. He told Local 10 news website  there's been a consistent growth in demand since diplomatic relations with the US were restored, and "Trump's policy hasn't changed the demand." Classes are always full.
