Commercial Manager

Established for over 30 years Infospeed is an industry leader in providing software solutions to the language school sector. With their market share growing and demand for their products increasing a new role has been created for a Commercial Manager to join their successful team based near Bournemouth.

This role will be a fantastic career move for someone who is looking for an opportunity to contribute to the business and input ideas that will play an integral part to the company’s growth.

The position is very hands-on, you will be responsible for a vast range of tasks from running the business on a day-to-day basis through to working closely with key departments in the company including the IT, Support, Marketing and Sales teams. You will be acutely commercially focused to enhance and maximise the opportunities for the business in the market.

The ideal candidate will have a background in operations or commercial management gained from the language school sector, whether this is directly for a school or supplier. It is essential that the individual understands the commercial elements of a business from both a financial and technical perspective, for example, setting and managing budgets and understanding how IT systems can impact and improve a business.  

Core qualities:
• Strong Commercial background, ideally with experience from a similar role
• Robust interpersonal skills to work cohesively with key stakeholders in the business and external clients
• Excellent communications skills both written and verbally
• Ability to work on own initiative and manage multiple, changing requirements on a day-to-day basis
