This is one of four books in the new International Management English series. Eight units cover areas such as ‘Why change?’, ‘Overcoming resistance’ and ‘Influencing people’. Several rich texts on topics like female management provide useful and interesting content. Terms such as ‘task-oriented’ and ‘relationship-oriented’ are clearly explained, and there is an excellent diagram which clarifies ‘scenario planning’. The list of tips for influencing people is especially useful. Students are encouraged to write their personal action plans, although the space to do this is somewhat limited. ‘Managing Change’ includes content and knowledge of benefit to both native speakers and language learners.
