Malta to open ELT in July

Maltese language schools will open in July, Julia Farrugia Portelli, Minister for Tourism, has told FELTOM (the Federation of English Language Teaching Organisation Malta).

Malta is to remove travel restrictions on 19 nationalities at the beginning of July, but only two, Austrians and Germans, come from traditional language travel markets, James Perry, CEO of FELTOM told Malta’s Independent newspaper.

Australia is also opening its language schools to students already in the country, most of whom have been studying online during the Covid-19 lockdown. Students currently outside the country are expected to quarantine for two weeks on arrival.
